All about me

My name is Olivia Winter, the owner of Playful Paws.

I first started my dog walking business in November 2022. Before this I had worked in two previous dog groomers for 5 years.

I have Winston, my miniature long haired dachshund, and Noodle, my miniature smooth haired dachshund. I have owned lots of pets my entire life including cats, goats, chickens, snakes, guinea pigs, rats and many more.

I have lots of experience working with cats, dogs, rodents, birds, exotics and many other animals, so you can rest assured they will be in the best hands.

Dog Walking

Group Walks
Our Group Walks are tailored to your pet. Before walks start I do a free consultation where I will meet everyone and make sure you and your dog are comfortable to start. From there we will start them in a small group, working up to our normal group. If there are certain breeds, genders or temperaments they don't get on with, we will always find a slot that suits them.
Solo Walks
Perfect for all dogs, especially dogs in training, reactive dogs, dogs recovering from surgery, and dogs getting their confidence up before starting group walks.
Socialisation Walks
A walk that helps build your dog's confidence — around other dogs, cars, people and more. Please message for details about your dog's specific needs.

Pet Sitting

Overnight Stays
All overnight stays include three drop-ins throughout the day, morning and evening walks, the overnight stay, playing, cuddles, feeding, medication administration and anything else needed.
Drop Ins
A 20–30 minute visit where I come into your home, let your pet out for a toilet, play, feed, clean out anything needed, give medication and more.
Every kind of pet
All pet sitting services are for any animals including exotics, cats, dogs, birds, rodents, fish and more.

Nail Trims

In your own home
Nail trims for dogs, cats and rabbits. This service is done in the comfort of their own home so they are as relaxed as possible.

Field Hire

Fully enclosed and safe
Every so often we hire out a fully enclosed dog field for whichever dogs would like to run about with a group of dogs they get on well with.
Great for recall
This field is also perfect for dogs that don't have the best recall, as it is fully enclosed so they can't run too far.
